Birds and Butterflies Flying Around Fabrics

dsc_6009-2.JPGWhen I’m feeling a little stressed, I go out and look at fabrics. Just seeing the new ideas, images, and details delight and inspire me, for no other reason except they are visually pleasing. Not particularly necessary or life saving, unless living in a beautiful world is important to you. I’ll be sharing a few with you… Christopher Hyland has a new collection at William Wesley, unapologetically traditional with classic weaves and colors, not for the minimalist. Read below what Seth Pariser says:CHI has sought the spirit and feeling of original textiles which were rich and in an era before electricity and they had to convey strength of color and design so they would be recognizable after twilight. These are not textures and colors and weaves that have been dumbed down. They have been rendered as outstanding as possible and are not for the folks who are into grey drab interiors. These fabrics are for people who are about the drama and the sensuality of life.

Okay, that’s it, I am going to do something stressful to Peggy, and then get her to pick out fabrics and wallpapers for the Dream House. Crisis averted…
