Phebe Phillips’ New Gold Crest Apartment

Don’t you love Phebe Phillips‘ look? We went to SMU together decades ago — she has since made a successful career out of designing stuffed animals, which are sold at posh places like Neiman’s. Last week she gave me a tour of her new apartment in the Gold Crest (she’s George Cameron Nash’s new neighbor) which will include, once it’s finished, a fabulous red laquer front door and art video installations in the entry hall, and projected onto the terrace wall outside. I bet you can see the show from the street. Phebe may be a toy maker, but her art is serious stuff. We’re hoping to photograph her new digs early next fall.

I am looking forward to seeing Phebe Phillip’s new digs . As I know her passion for all she does from toys to art will shine thru as only Phebe can do!
